While ascending into the clouds on the way to Budapest I can catch a view of Nürtingen which lies 12 km to the east of my hometown.

In the center is the city of Nürtingen. The hills of the Schwäbische Alb are partly covered in clouds. On top of Jusi mountain as well on the plateau behind there is still some snow.

daytrip to Paris with TGV 2013-03-14

End of January Deutsche Bahn and SNCF sold return Tickets to Paris for just 50 € on the occasion of the 50-year anniversary of the Élysée Treaty (Treaty of Friendship between France and Germany). A good opportunity for a daytrip to Paris, as the TGV (French high-speed train) travels between Stuttgart and Paris in 3:40 h.
